Technical Sales Representative

Located in Edmonton and covering Northern Alberta and parts of British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, but primarily to grow sales in an established territory providing customers in Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Mining, Pulp and Paper, Manufacturing, Thermal Processing, Water and Wastewater, and Food and Beverage with application solutions through leading edge products
  • Increase Customer base in territory through active prospecting
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with Customers and Principals
  • Assist Customers with application choices
  • Manage territory based on a documented Sales Plan, including weekly reporting
  • Participate in Trade Shows/Exhibitions

Aptitudes and Competencies

  • A minimum of two years experience in Industrial Sales
  • A minimum of an Instrumentation/Electrical/Engineering diploma or degree
  • Must be a self starting, enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude and able to work independently from home
  • Must have a good work ethic, be motivated by results, with excellent organizational skills and a strong ability to prioritize
