Platform. Built on the legacy of Honeywell’s field-proven
controller line, the new UDC2500, UDC3200 and UDC3500 Controllers
provide many new features while retaining the reliability, cost
effectiveness and simplicity of the models they replace.
New features,
such as NEMA 4X/IP66-rated front face, infrared communications
ports with accompanying Instrument Explorer software enables fast
and secure controller configuration via a pocket PC, laptop or
desktop computer through non-intrusive wireless connection. An
Ethernet connection allows the new controllers to connect to plant
networks and exchange data with computers or other devices on
the network for monitoring or for managing the process from other
plant locations. Additional new features, including thermocouple
health diagnostics, heater break alarm, universal outputs, real
time clock and data storage options make this new platform ideal
for today’s demanding requirements.

RECORDERS: CIRCULAR, STRIP CHART AND PAPERLESS/VIDEO
While
the senior, more experienced workhorses of recording such as the
DR4300 & 4500 Circular Chart Recorders as well as the DPR180
& 250 Strip Chart Recorders continue to fulfill their traditional
roles, Paperless recording is the new darling of the industry
as they are more accurate and reliable, increasing the end user’s
confidence in video recording. They allow greater flexibility
for monitoring and storing data than traditional paper recorders.
The ability to analyze and manipulate the data with the personal
computer allowing the user to quickly generate reports and analyze
trends that are of interest to improving their processes. Paperless Recorders also provide productivity improvements by eliminating the expense of paper charts and the manpower to change and archive them. The Paperless Recorder has filled the need of the users that were

HYBRID CONTROLLER
Hybrid
Control is a class of control combining Process and Discrete Control
which applies to both plant processes and process equipment. HC900
is an embedded controller and a very cost effective solution which
can operate as a standalone product or allow integration of the
process equipment to the plant network with open Ethernet Modbus/TCP
