Thermowells are principally used with Thermocouples, RTDs (Resistance Temperature Detectors) and Bimetal Thermometers in applications where it is necessary to measure temperature at high pressure (above 75 psig) or in hostile environments. All materials available in Tapered, Reduced Tip and Straight configurations.

PROTECTION TUBES
Protection Tubes are used to protect sensors, usually thermocouples, against contaminating atmospheres and/or mechanical damage. Closed at one end, they usually incorporate some means by which the tube, sensor and connection head are assembled and mounted into the process. The Protection Tube material is selected on the basis of the environment to which the sensor assembly will be subjected.
